Jean-Pierre Nadal is Director of Research at CNRS, working with both the Centre for Social Analysis and Mathematics (CAMS), EHESS, Paris, and the Statistical Physics Laboratory of Ecole Normale Supérieure (LPS ENS), Paris.

His current research interests include information processing in neural networks  (neural coding, signal processing, modelling memory), and complex systems in social science (econophysics, social cognition, linguistics).

In the context of GSD, he is more specifically interested in problems related to social behavior.
