And finally…
The GSD project formally ended on 31st July 2010.
A booklet was produced to summarise the wide-ranging activities that have formed this project. The pdf version is available here [PDF, 1,3 MB].
But that is not the end of the story…
A follow up project called GSDP aimed at strengthening and widening the ideas developed in GSD started on 1st October 2010. The website for the GSDP project is www.gsdp.eu.
Some of the partners are involved in a proposal for the FET Flagship awards which are ongoing – see www.futurict.eu – and there will also be a call open in July 2011 for the field of Global System Dynamics and so the GSD project has, and still is, stimulating considerable interest.
Steven Bishop recently made a presentation at the ICT2010 Digitally Driven Conference organised by the DGINFSO. His presentation was part of the eGovernance section on Governance in 2020: what do the citizens get? His presentation is available here [PDF, 7,6 MB].
Global System Dynamics and Policies is a project funded by the Future & Emerging Technologies division of the European Commission. The project began in May 2008, and will continue until April 2010
